Since 1992 Industrial Support Services has specialized in contract packaging and small parts assembly work. Today, we have a full-time and temporary work force that often exceeds 300 employees.
From humble beginnings in 60,000 square feet performing promotional packaging for the Lysol Company, ISS quickly grew from 40 to 150 employees. By 1995 new customers included Capitol Records, the Hefty Bag Company and Harris Broadcasting. A milestone included the assembly and packaging of over 14.5 million twin sets of "The Beatles Anthologies CDs" in a one year period. Today, we still prepare more than 4.4 million gift sets annually for one customer.
Our work includes specialty and promotional packaging, display assembly, electrical and small parts assembly, general labor services, repair and return, order fulfillment, warehousing and distribution. Our diverse customer base includes some of the largest producers and retailers of consumer products in the United States.
We are ISO certified (9001:2000) and registered with the FDA and EPA. We have a quality assurance program. Our Dun & Bradstreet Number is 800664401.
Industrial Support Services is located in Quincy,Illinois on the Mississippi River 100 miles due west of Springfield, Illinois and 110 miles north of St. Louis.
We have a new 220,000 square foot facility. We also have a Pontiac, Illinois plant, Exact Packaging, that has 285,000 square feet that is located 90 miles southwest of Chicago on I-55. These two locations, in the heart of America, put us in ideal locations to receive and distribute products nation-wide.
