ISS was incorporated in June of 1992. Prior to that its owner had 15 years of co-packing experience. Today, ISS has grown to be a $10 million per year business. Located in a 220,000 sq ft facility that is two years old, ISS already has another 150,000 sq ft area graded to add on. ISS normally carries a compliment of 150 employees. At our peak, we reach 350 employees. In order to grow, ISS has to be able to do what it says it can do, i.e., deliver a quality product/service, on time at the lowest possible price. ISS’ philosophy is to treat customer’s products like they belong to ISS. We have the methods to account for and protect customer’s products
How much do ISS’ services cost?
The cost of our services vary. We have to consider the labor hours and materials that it will take to assemble/package a product. Of course, the most expensive part of any project is labor. After all, we are a contract labor service.
We normally insist on having samples of a product/project so that we can perform time studies to accurately determine our costs and thereby provide customers with the lowest possible cost.

What is ISS doing about freight costs?
ISS has added its own trucks. We can deliver full loads of finished goods with our own vehicles and offset any extra freight costs caused by our distance from customers. Four lane highways from St. Louis and Chicago are realities. In 2009 the final forty miles of a four-lane road to Kansas City will be completed. Over 30 common carriers reach us. We have on-line terminals with FedEx and UPS. Shipping to and from ISS is not a problem. Our labor prices are lower than those in major metropolitan areas.
